Reflecting the heart of our mission, Fairhaven offers the following retreat options for individuals, couples, or families focused on spiritual formation

Self-Directed Retreat

The Self-Directed Retreat is ideal for individuals, as a couple, or as a family seeking time to listen, pray, read, meditate, write, rest, and enjoy nature. The self-directed retreat provides an opportunity to unplug from the busyness of one’s ministry in a context of prayer and solitude situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Fairhaven campus. This retreat provides the most flexibility to choreograph your own retreat experience.

Guided Retreat

The Guided Retreat is ideal for individuals, as a couple, or as a family seeking time to listen, pray, read, meditate, write, rest, and enjoy nature. The guided retreat recognizes that in the context of listening to oneself and to God’s Spirit, it is helpful to have someone else listen with you. A Spiritual guide can meet with individuals on a casual basis to offer support, structure, prayerful presence, and feedback as you unplug from the busyness of ministry to experience rest and renewal in the beautiful surroundings of the Fairhaven campus.

Co-Directed Retreat

The Co-directed Retreat is ideal for individuals or as a couple seeking time to listen, pray, read, meditate, write, rest, and enjoy nature as an individual, couple, or as a family. While all of the Fairhaven retreat offerings have a preventative and spiritual health/formation focus, the co-directed retreat is well suited to a remedial focus for those experiencing times of stressful ministry, difficult transitions, personal brokenness, and loss.

One of our staff will work with registered guest(s) prior to arrival to co-construct a schedule and routine during their stay.

Group / Educational Retreat

Fairhaven is an ideal setting for an intimate staff or board retreat or a focused event for Christian leaders. Whether hosted by Fairhaven staff or coordinated by your team, our experienced staff can help plan and/or facilitate retreats focused on wide varied of offerings such as leadership development, spiritual formation, and emotional / relational health.
