support for your journey
Sometimes rest is enough.
But sometimes we need something more.
There are seasons when the things we carry require care, attention and support ... seasons of transition, loss, burnout, uncertainty, relationship challenges or simply feeling stuck.
For those moments, Fairhaven offers access to trusted counselors and coaches who can walk alongside you with wisdom, compassion and care.
Our hope is simple: to provide a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, be heard, gain clarity and take meaningful steps forward - wherever you find yourself on the journey.
our approach
We recognize that every person’s story is different, and so is the kind of support they may need.
Fairhaven has carefully curated a network of trusted counsellors and coaches. Each brings their own experience, training, and areas of specialization, allowing you to choose the person who feels like the best fit for your season and circumstances.
The counsellors featured below are available by referral. Simply review their profiles and reach out to them directly to begin the conversation. Availability for in-person or virtual sessions is noted beneath each counsellor's name.
Once connected, you and your counsellor will arrange the details together, including session format, timing, length, and fees. Counselling services are provided independently, and payment is made directly to the counsellor. Because each practitioner operates their own practice, rates and availability will vary.
Our role is to help create a pathway to trusted support and provide space for meetings in person when possible, making it easier for you to find the care that best meets your needs.

I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trinity Western University and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor #27836.
I believe every person is fighting their own unique battle, and it is my honour to walk alongside people through both the suffering and the beauty of life. I work with individuals and families navigating relationship challenges, grief, and unwanted behaviours.
At heart, I believe we are not meant to carry our pain or longings alone. When we share our stories with someone we can trust, space opens for healing, growth, and deeper freedom. My hope is to offer a place where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and move toward the life and relationships you long for with greater courage and clarity.
I offer counselling in person in Vernon British Columbia at Mosaic Therapy. It would be an honour to walk alongside you in your journey.

Alana Peters, BA, BEd, PCC, is a Certified Executive Coach and facilitator who supports men and women navigating leadership and life. For 25 years she was a teacher who served in ministry as a pastor's wife across Alberta. In 2011, an accident became the catalyst for complete upheaval and a new direction. Where she once loved leading worship, she now treasures a faith that is quieter, deeper and her own. She founded her coaching practice in 2015, working with individuals, groups, and teams.
Alana is certified in Brené Brown's Dare to Lead™, Rising Strong™, and The Daring Way™, and holds Executive Coaching Certification from Royal Roads University. Over 11 years she has gathered the tools she wishes she'd had—resources for sustainable caring and resilient leadership. Engaging, playful, honest, and dedicated, she is unafraid to challenge the status quo, creating a safe, stretching space for new choices, clarity, and purpose.
Fairhaven holds a special place in Alana's story: she brought her family here as her children grew up. She's honoured to offer rest and renewal to others who lead and serve.

Marcel Morneau
Coach
Virtual/In-Person
-
Marcel Morneau has been coaching since 2017. As a pastor and missionary for the past 30 years Marcel has invested his life walking alongside others to help them discover their giftings and purpose. Coaching brings together his relentless curiosity for life with his passion for seeing people walk in their God-given calling. It is a space where he gets to listen without judgement and encourage without limits.
Before completing his Training through the Co-Active Training Institute Marcel first experienced the power of coaching in a very challenging season of his own life when he hired his first coach. The results from those first months were revolutionary. Coaching brings into alignment the deeply held values in each of us with the life-choices we get to make. In short, it helps us walk the path God created us for.
Marcel and his wife Christine live on a farm in Armstrong, close enough to Fairhaven that in-person sessions are an option. They have four adult children and three grandchildren. They also help to lead a new church in the area called Barn Church.
fees & insurance
Each counsellor and coach in our network operates an independent practice and sets their own rates. Because training, credentials, areas of specialization, and services vary, fees are not the same for every practitioner. If you are considering working with a counsellor, we encourage you to contact them directly to discuss their current rates, availability and approach.
Questions regarding insurance coverage, receipts, or reimbursement should also be directed to the counsellor, as coverage varies depending on the practitioner and your individual insurance plan. Counsellors are paid directly for their services, and all scheduling and payment arrangements are made between you and the practitioner.
